The Length of a Day
Ups and downs
and the pros
and cons of
living a life
of constant demolition
and
construction
implosion and
explosion personal
and private
sometimes
you have
to cut down
dead trees
so that
the living may grow.
It is a sign
of how things
can change,
in beautiful
new ways
that will
both terrify
and amaze upon
closer inspection
it is just
like our problems.
Constantly
changing and
yet static
like a television
stuck between
channels of
communication.
Forever mixing
conflicting signals
from satellites
signiying the expansion
of conceptual
information
that has no
bearing upon
how
you should
really live
your life
because you are going
to die
but these words
which don't
exist will
out last
me
